Ella York

My name is Ella York, and I’m a Cleveland native! I’m currently a junior at BW majoring in film studies with a double minor in convergent journalism and marketing. 

Coming to BW as a freshman, I was really trying to find my place at the school, and after meeting the wonderful women of Alpha Phi, I knew my place was there. Alpha Phi has given me so many wonderful friends and opportunities beyond what I could ever imagine. I’ve grown so much throughout my time in this sorority as a person and as a leader. I’m so honored that my sisters have chosen me for this role, and I’m extremely excited to be on this year’s exec board!

Outside of Alpha Phi, I work for BW’s student-run newspaper, The Exponent, as a writer and a managing editor. In my free time, I enjoy going to the movies, thrifting, and hanging out with my sisters!
